I ended up taking four semesters of German. I don't think it is hard at all in terms of intellectually hard. It won't strain your brain to learn. It does take up some time though as a degree of memorization is necessary. You will need to put in some time memorizing the vocabulary and verb conjugations. So it isin't a sail through without cracking a book class either.

nothing is hard as long as you study everyday and try to get you some German movies unless you have tv that has international chanels with German tv or movies once you hear it every day it makes it so much easier to pick up ~~~~Good Luck and this is comming from a poor black girl in the south that speaks 8 different lnguages fluently just so you don't think I'm some brainiac from Harvard just blowin smoke up your tail pipe lol

German and Spanish are about as easy as it gets.
The only tough part is distinguishing between the three the's - der, die, and das.
