Well first I must correct you, if youre talking about Jesus when you talk about one God and his father then that's wrong. Because God is the god and Jesus is the massaiha or savior, but not God.
As for you're question, it's a very good question.
Religions like Islam, Judaism and Christianity all believe in the same male god, but just worship him in differant ways. Christians believe Jesus was his son, Islam believe that Jesus was just a messenger and that Muhammad is the chosen one, Judaism believes the savior is yet to come.
Other religions eg paganism worships female goddesses or many gods.
You are allowed to think that they are all the same God. I do sometimes.
I'm an agnostic by the way, which means I believe there is a God, just that religion and man cant explain him.

Some of the most heavily populated religions worship the same God (Christians, Jews, even Muslims), they just do so differently. Most of the differences you see in religion have to do with the process of that worship (different sects of Lutheranism that do/don't believe women should be allowed to hold voting positions in the church, for example).
I believe what I believe (all religion, after all, IS just a matter of inexplicable belief), but I find it hard to believe that of all the permutations of religious belief that have evolved down through the centuries, that there is one tiny faction that is exactly right on everything. To me, that seems arrogant beyond reason.

No religion can be proven to be right. Some religions do worship the same god (Christianity, Judaism ,and Islam) while some worship a vast array of different gods (Wicca and Hinduism) and some do not officially say if there is a god or not (Buddhism). Who's to say which of these is right?

Jesus came back from the dead and showed himself to over 500 witnesses to prove that he was alive again, so obviously Jesus knows something that no one else does. Any religion that acknowledges that Jesus is God and tries to follow his teaching should a true religion. Since Jesus claimed that he was the only way to Heaven, any religion that teaches that there are multiple gods, or many paths to Heaven contradict the express teachings of Jesus himself.
Islam denies that Jesus is God, and denies that Jesus is the only way to Heaven, even though Jesus expressly said so. Also, the God of the Qur'an is different in His character and his commands than the God of the Bible, so they cannot be the same god. Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons have a similar problem.
Buddhism does not believe in any particular god, and Hindu's believes in multiple gods, so they cannot be correct.

Not all religions follow a SINGLE God... Paganism/Wicca follows multiple gods and goddesses... And other religions follow other higher beings than a SINGLE God... I practice Paganism and I feel it is the right religion for me... If you are Christian and you believe in the Bible and what you read about Christianity, then that is the right religion for you.

No, people worship different Gods. As to which is the correct one? There is no way of testing which is the right one. Either A) God does not exist. or B) God exists and you hope you have chosen wisely.

There is one Bible, but many religions that claim to follow that one Bible but believe and teach different things.
(There are religions that do not accept the Bible, but it would take too long to consider each of these.)
One needs to see what the Bible really teaches, and then find the religious group that teaches and believes and LIVES BY what the Bible teaches that God requires of us.

I think most religions have it right, to some extent. Most major religions have the Golden Rule, in one form or another. I think the rest is not that their God is right or wrong, but that God appears to different people in ways each of them can understand. Even the Bible says no one can comprehend the wholeness of God. Who says each of us isn't just seeing one facet of him?
