HI Summer....Nature's Miracle is quite effective at removing urine odours. It is an enzymatic neutralizer which works by pouring it on the affected areas to soak and then let it air dry. Repeated applications may be required in order to saturate the stains/odours to lift them.
We use this product with exotic/wild cats as their urine odours are very strong compared to domestic house cats. It works surprisingly better than most of the competing products or household remedies.

There is really no way to get the smell out. You can try vinegar or tomatoe juice but that could leave a bigger mess I would write off the carpet and the upolestry, train the cat to use the litter box. If he is not nuetered I would get that done, they say that a nuetered cat doen't spray.

the only everlasting answer I even have is the Austin Air puppy device. somewhat costly yet once you opt to completely save your cat and completely have the scent long gone then I’d propose it little doubt. regardless of how stressful i attempted to bathe out the carpets or the couches or maybe the partitions the scent might constantly come again. apparently its purely a lingering scent in the air, so with the puppy device now I don’t ought to waste my time a week scrubbing for hours. desire this facilitates! -Randall

I have seen some products on the internet. Use a search engine, they'll come up. never tried them.
By the way, if your cat pees on the carpet, you must check if he has an infection or blockage. If he just sprays to mark his territory, get him neutered (fixed) and he'll stop doing it.

Use Resolve carpet cleaner, but don't follow the instructions...it says to let it sit and then blot it out--that doesn't work, and the cleaner never comes out of the carpet that way...instead, spray it and scrub right away.

Using Diaper Pure, a product made for soaking baby's diapers works the best. Mix with water, pour it on the spot or soak it up, let set, soak it up, then vaccuum. It neutralizes the smell.

Besides burning them and buying new? Nope. It's really hard. If it's old, it'll never come out, if it's fresh, slight possibility. Best to buy a deterrent to stop it OR check with your vet to be sure there is not a health problem causing this behavior.

throw it out. there is no way to get the smell out, only to mask it. do you really want to live with it/ just pretend it isn't there? male cats have oils in their urine and they spray to mark their territory. there is no way to remove these oils without damaging the fabric. just toss it, and the cat!
