Number one answer is very good. I would suggest that you make sure you eat good meals and snacks. By good, I mean at least 3-4 ounces (not much more unless you are very active athletically), of protein - either lean meat or vegetable, low glycemic carbohydrates, some good fat and the required amount of water. Also don't forget a balanced snack between each meal. You may be experiencing a low blood sugar episode, due to the stress of being away from home. www.hufa.org has some basic info about low blood sugar.

Whenever my husband is away from home, he checks out the stores in the new area for his interests, be it books or collectable cards or pins or whatever. Hope this helps.

Call someone. Family, or friend, it doesn't matter. It sounds like you're a little home-sick & a friendly voice would do wonders. If you're unable to call, then picture them in your mind & think of some good times together. Try to look forward to the time you'll be back together again.
