i want to convert from cathlic to islam, what are the requirements and papers needed?

there are no papers needed. you just need to say the shahada:
La ilaha il Allah, Muhammad-ur-Rasool-Allah
(None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah)

I support both equally as imperfect memoid systems however what u seem to want probably requires a change of heart in the sense of direction u can snob who u where rather then who you will have become..now u get to blast your old friends behind their backs no really just kidding the basic common sense values, (surprisingly enough) are almost identical which might well make some wonder why so much misunderstood animosity ....My niece was raised Catholic and she married a Muslim so this sould be encouraging I never heard of paperwork it not a legal maneuver

I don't know about paperwork, but I know you have to be willing to cut the head off a non-Muslim, even if it's a family member.
Don't worry, though, as you'll have 72 virgins awaiting your arrival in heaven so long as you die in the name of your newfound religion.

i am not muslim, christian or against any religion, however I would say, why?
You don't need papers. Just learn the customs and start practicing, simple.

you have to believe what Mohammad says about Allah to be a muslim.But first, Mohammad had 9wives,married a 9 year old girl,married his daughter in law, was a bandit and a pirate,slaughtered many tribes of Jews in Arabia and raped their leader's wives,had concubines,had sex with his slave girls.So the question is, are you still willing to believe Old Mo?

All you have to do is read this from your heart:
The Shahada can be declared as follows:
"ASH-HADU ANLA ELAHA ILLA-ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASUL-ALLAH".
The English translation is:
"I bear witness that there is no deity (none truely to be worshipped) but, Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is the messenger of Allah",
