If a you have no title for a car, or want to buy one that has no title, I thought you can just go through the state DMV for a much lesser charge than Broadways 250.00.
I was interested in one on eBay but the seller said he needed 250.00 more to get the title through Broadway Title Co. I haven't asked him why? A scam?

Big scam!!!!!!!!!!, never by a car with out a title, and never give some A hole money over the Internet.
If the title is lost the owner can get a new one from the local DMV, unless there is some thing wrong with the car,
for example it was stolen or abandoned.
Also if the title has the word salvage on it, you will have to pay the Local police an extra fee to have it inspected by them.

In Georgia, you can go through the DMV for a lost title for $20 or something.
