I have known a girl for the last year. Soon after we mwt we were more then friends. We slept in my hammock together and went on mountain bike rides. Over the last year it appears that she is not as interested in me. She has now become a close friend as we are on a ski team together. Recently while riding in my car she found a thing in a magazine with questions such as favorite movie, inspiration, best experience,...and perfect day. After she answered the questions as if she were me I did the same for her. When I answered the perfect day I said a long workout followed by a dinner outdoors and sleeping under the stars. After reading through it she IM'd me and said that she really liked the perfect day that I did for her. She then said that she hopes she sees me before I leave for a school campout. Would asking her is she wanted to take me up on her perfect day be a good way to ask her out? BTW a person on my team was rejected by her and it became awkward between them.

I think it sounds like an awesome idea! I'd go if I were her.

By the way, if she "rejects you", don't let it get "awkward". You have control of the situation. You didn't change. You are still the same person. Just continue to smile and say hi and strike up friendly conversations here and there and it won't get awkward.

Just continue as you are. You are going out. If things are going to happen romantically they will. Don't push the issue. Good things happen to those who wait.

That's an excellent way to ask her. If she says no she was royaly toying with you and not worth worrying over anyway.

Sure - ask her. Everything is a risk in life and you may always wonder if you don't. if she isn't interested though - respect that as hard as it might be.
