You have to distinguish between job fatalities which are caused by dangers inherent to your job and by fatalities which aren't.
I don't think being a cancer specialist will expose you to a higher risk of getting cancer as cancer is not an infectious disease. Cancer is just a frequent cause of death for all people.
And as a counter example: have you ever heard of a ear, nose and throat specialist die of a cold? Or a teacher of teaching?
Even without any power interfering: if you don't ever go parachuting, you are never going to die of a parachuting accident, I can guaratee you that.
Unless you think a bit more before doing your research it will not be research, however, read a book about statistics.

First off there are no studies showing that cancer doctors get cancer any more often than anyone else or that heart specialists have heart attacks any more often.... There is no increased risk here...
Now airplane pilots die more often in air accidents, sky divers die more often from jumping out of planes than the rest of us, etc. etc. because they are exposed to their particular risk more than the general population...
Steve Irwin specialty was land creatures.. He and his manager had once talked about the possibility that he would die in the ocean because there were more variables there that he was not as comfortable with...

It's called the law of retributive justice/law of causality/law of karma.
These people make fortunes on useless, often painful and generally dangerous "cures" that they know do not work. In a recent survey at McGill University, more than 8/10 oncologists said they would not take chemotherapy if they got cancer. Yet they do this will full knowledge. At times they will bring in law enforcement so that their "cures" are forced upon the unwilling- RE: Abraham Cherrix in USA.
Accordingly, the Law gives them a taste of their own medicine -LITERALLY- before the curtain comes down. Also, if you know the various details of this Eastern law, you will understand that they might die many deaths from the same disease, even if they do not die of it in this life.

That would be Irony, if a heart specialist died of heart disease. And people like Steve Irwin, and mountaineers, have dangerous jobs and it's usual that the job could kill them.
But I've never heard any statistics that heart specialists die of heart disease, and cancer specialists of cancer, and the like.

I've never seen any research pertaining to the correlations between doctors and them dieing of the diseases they treat. If you engage in an activity or a job that is high risk, then it is more likely you will see those people dieing from them like your example of a mountaineer or someone who works with dangerous animals.

Adventurers die of their adventures because there is always a risk of life and limb. Heart specialists usually do not die of heart attack its just that this disease is so common today that everyone is vulnerable to it. As about cancer only those specialists die of it who are exposed to radiations.

If you spend the greater part of your time doing something dangerous.. it is likely that at some point you will make a mistake...
In some professions.. you only get ONE mistake...
I've never noticed that doctors die of diseases that they work on unless they are communicable.
