I have win xp sp2 cd but not original. so activation pereiod going to be finished. I have another Win XP upgrade cd which need not a validation. but can not upgrade since it is a previous version. Can anybody tell me to do this please.

just format u r PC and then install the win xp (upgrade) which u have its as simple as that, bcoz I daily do this thing.

u'll have to format ur drive c & reinstall windows Xp...no other alternative dude...sorry....but do backup all ur data 1st...Good luck...
