i went away for the weekend to visit friends, and met this guy who hung out with us. he knows im in to him b/c friday night i get pissy drunk and told him, but he came back with me saturday to my hotel and we spent the night and when i left monday he texted and said he had a lot of fun and hope o it again sometime soon. i think we really hit it off and i want to invite up to see me this weekend do u think its too soon?

No, its not too soon at all. But I wouldnt go rushing into a relationship with him either. PLay it cool. Make sure that you are compatible. If you trusted him to go into your hotel room then you should be good to go now!

Too soon for what? You told him you're into him, he spent the night, and wants a second date. Doesn't sound like it's too soon for a second date.
