does topamax work and is it really that safe as it is said and can it cause side effects as the inability to ejaculate as lamictal can cause

I took topamax for a short time for migraine prevention. However, I had such serious side effects from it that it had to be discontinued.

All drugs have side effects that can make them unsafe. It just depends on how the person's body reacts. If the person has no side effects and it is taken as directed, it is safe. Yes, one of the side effects of topamax is impotence. (I'm an R.N.)
