Because their perception of "Satan" is not the same as that of Christians. To them Satan is a symbol of "the dark side of nature". A Satanist will tell you how they are the "alien elite" and how Satanism has improved their lives...like Lord Egan of The First Church of Satan:
"I've been forced to give up coffee - the acid was responsible for a minor ulcer and I can no longer take any chances with my health. This was my solitary vice - now it is gone. I do not drink, do not smoke, do not use recreational drugs and have nothing remotely resembling a sex life!"
They call it a "philosophy" but it's really more of a fanatsy to help them escape a life they don't really have any joy in.

Satanic churches are here because there is confusion & satan is still running around. The people in these churches don't believe what you believe so they know nothing of eternal death. We as christians can't force ourselves on them. All we can do is tell them of Jesus and make them aware (not forcfully) If you try to shove it down their throat you will only push them further away. It is then up to them what they decide.I've found that alot of satanist have once been christians and have been hurt or lied to by either christians or churches. Let's face it there are alot of christians who give christianity a bad name. It is up to us to bring the church back to how God intended it to be. I think we will all be surprised as to who makes it to heaven and who doesnt.

They believe Satan won, and that those who worship the "defeated God" will be the ones on the eternal dead end.

Perhaps it's because those people find your brand of religion boring. Since religion is nothing more than individual expression... good on em! You go on living that repressive lifestyle if it works for ya. Hell doesn't exist... worry about yourself and let others do what they will.

i would say because we live in the U.S.A. and the citizens here have a right to worship however they choose as well as WHOMEVER they choose without fear of any government authority from stopping them
