Illustrator. Freehand has too little features, and illustrator is just right, suitable for both beginners and pros. Buy illustrator CS2 at www.adobe.com. Freehand MX is also available at adobe.com. For simpler drawings, use freehand. Also check out Microsoft Visio 2003 (www.microsoft.com.

I like Adobe Illustrator CS, cause it has those excellent 3D options and allows me to see what a label would like on a can/carton etc.
The 3D also has excellent shading option.
Adobe Photoshop CS2 is also brilliant for photo's.
I wouldn't recommend anything else.

i have used both coral Draw and illustrator and i personally prefer Coral Draw because its a bit more user-friendly however i think that if you are dealing with printers then they prefer that you work in illustrator!

Personally i use Serif DrawPlus 4.0 It's free and offers a feature packed package that has no limits to what you can do with it.

Kate darling depend on your choice. You should know which one is easy and manageable to your liking. One cannot say which is good and which bad honey. Only thing here darling is your choice and not someone else.
