I would not go with Citi... I am sorry... but their customer service rate went down. It used to be 86% customer service satisfaction... now it is 14%. Trust me... I used to work in the main CitiBank building in Texas... and my mom still works for them.

Citi will be good to you if you give them @ least $10,000 in bank accounts. They are horrible though unlike WAMU or Washington Mutual in terms of how much they take, their account average balance, and so forth. Basically, it's like giving your money them and they tell you that you have to keep a certain amount X otherwise they hit you with fees...though that could happen with Wells Fargo not as much

Plus if you are just beginning with your credit history or are just getting started believe me Citi will throw you out of their banking centers

My mother has a Citi credit card and she hates their credit cards too....that Thank you points is bull ****

According to CreditCards.com, the top five CC-issuing banks as of 2005 are Bank of America, J.P. Morgan Chase, Citigroup, Capital One, and HSBC Bank.

Citi...is one of the best..great customer service!
Then I'd say Amex...then I'd say Bank of America..those are the 3 that I have and really like.

The ThankYou program is great...no annual fee, rewards just for using the card.
