Corned beef with tomato, and lots of salt on the tomatoes.
It has to be on nice thick white bloomer bread or it doesn't taste the same

Hard salami, pastrami, sandwich pepperoni with pepper jack cheese, deli mustard on a grainy wheat. Sometimes I like to add a little lettuce and some sandwich peppers.

Antipasto Chicken Sandwich:
To speed preparation, purchase roasted chicken breasts and shred the meat. Prepare this sandwich the morning of your picnic, and wrap it tightly in foil.
1 (10-ounce) loaf round focaccia, cut in half horizontally
2 tablespoons olive paste
2 cups shredded roasted skinless, boneless chicken breast
1/2 cup coarsely chopped drained marinated artichoke hearts
1/2 cup chopped drained oil-packed sun-dried tomato halves
1/2 cup coarsely chopped bottled roasted red bell peppers
2 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded fontina cheese
Spread bottom half of focaccia with olive paste. Arrange chicken on top of paste. Arrange artichokes, tomatoes, peppers, and prosciutto over chicken. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with top half of focaccia; press gently.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add sandwich to pan. Place a cast-iron or heavy skillet on top of sandwich; press gently to flatten. Cook 2 minutes on each side or until bread is lightly toasted (leave cast-iron skillet on sandwich while cooking). Cut into 4 wedges.
Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 wedge)

Roast chicken (with rosemary and lemon juice) with cranberry jam. Absolutely yummy on ciabatta bread and a healthy serving of rocquet lettuce and tomatoes. Melted cheese is also an option :)

You can get it for a sandwich bar inbetween covent garden and charing cross station called chandos. I have been going there since I was a baby when my mum used to work in london.
Right it is avocado, crinkly bacon with mayonaise in a buttered wholemeal bap cut into quarters.
It is to die for.

Ruben, Grilled so the bread is nice and toasted. I recently had an Irish Ruben in an Irish Pub. They use cooked cabbage instead of sauerkraut. It was yummy.

Try salt beef, with a little lather of cream cheese, some gherkins and a few perky tomatos on a soft ciabbata or in a wrap.

Okay, my fave sandwiches aren't new really, but I love them.
I don't eat meat, so most of my fave sarnies tend to be cheese based - cheese and coleslaw, cheese and pickle, etc.
Also I bet you haven't tried a jam sandwich for ages have you? Try it and rediscover your youth. They're soooo good.
