I am very shy and I really like this guy. How can I get over my shyness and become more assertive and/or aggressive?

u should be in between the two , i mean u should neither be too much assertive or too much of aggressive

i think guys prefer aggressive girls in bed and a more assertive girl in the street. first off shake it off no reason to be shy everyone is pretty and at least a bit intelligent so my advise get real pretty and walk on over to that guy whats the worst that can happen he shuts you down hes not the only guy in the world. practice it over with a friend or a mirror when you feel ready make your move go get him tiger GRRRR!!!

Most guys like a woman with a little aggression but not overly aggressive. Real men still want to wear the pants, not share them.

You don't sincerely think there is a correct answer for that do you? There are as many answers for that question as there are men with mouths to speak the answer. Treat men like individuals and allow them the dignity of doing the same for you.
Nobody can answer for all men any more than they can for all women. Foolish people seek answers like that the wise ask their partner how to please them... then tell their partner what would please them. Love and sexual relations are not guessing games they are the ultimate in communication.
But within the relationship we have forgotten the sanctity of union and that what goes on behind closed doors blooms best in a private garden. If you would have the best relationship with one man or one woman speak often of pleasing each other in and out of the bedroom. Reinforce things that please you by mentioning that it did so and thanking your partner by doing something they like.
Never bring an outsiders likes or dislikes into your relationship in the bedroom or living room and most of all never into your mind or heart.

1)You walk up to him smile and get chatting to him. " Hi, my name's ..... is always a good one.
OR
2) Run up to him, smack him in the jaw and kick him in the balls while letting out a loud howling noise.
One is aggressive... the other is assertive.. Just get on with it love, and let the chips fall where they may.

Don't know much abt others.... but I like aggressive girls.... and shyness is the different thing.... u cannot corelate each other.... u don't need aggression.... u jus need courage to talk to the boy.... gather it baby and enjoy ur life...:)
