I would like a simple cheesecake recipe which does not require baking. Thanks

Here I don't find ready made things which most of you are suggesting. I need to do everything myself so please do not post recipes which include anything ready made (except of course cream cheese)

ok my favourite...so bad for you but tastes amazing...

U need to get digestice biscuits crush them up and put into a bowl with melted butter, then line the base of your tin (Springform is possible) with the mixed biscuit and butter. press down to create a hard base. Refridgereate for about 20 mins.

Meanwhile miz together 2 tubs of marscapone cheese in a bowl to soften. Add single cream and the contents of a fresh vanilla pod. Use extract if you cant get the real thing. Add icing sugar to sweeten. Add as much or as little as you like.

It may sound simple but trust me it tastes amazing!!!

Here is a variation that includes pineapple. I've made it twice and like it very much:

No Bake Pineapple Cheesecake

2 - 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 - 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
1 - 8 ounce carton whipped topping, thawed
1 - 3 ounce packages ladyfingers
1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with the sugar until smooth. Stir in pineapple. Fold in whipped topping.
Place ladyfingers along bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan. Pour filling into pan.

Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Remove from pan, top with strawberries and serve. Like 10-12 servings.

(NOTE: we determined that the harder biscuit type ladyfingers were not very good so if soft ones weren't available, you can substitute angel food cake for the base. Maybe even pound cake. Also, as a variation I was thinking you could fold in drained mandarin orange sections or halves next time).

1) Go to Supermarket
2) Buy ready made cheesecake
3) Take cheesecake home
4) Remove packaging from cheesecake and place on cakedish
5) Ask yourself why you didn't buy a chocolate cake, they're so much nicer!
