anyone from another religion who suggests that his religion is false. Also, is it reasonable to refute a religion by quoting its own holy book(s) to show its falsity? There seem to be many questions and answers reported where the "reporter" is PROBABLY of the religion criticised. This may be tantamount to denial of freedom of speech.

Of course not because that seriously cripples the possibility for debate. Besides if your faith isn't strong enough to withstand a little criticism, then you don't have my sympathy. As far as using a religion's holy text against itself, absolutely! The proof is, as they say, in the pudding.

No it is not reasonable to report someone just because they criticise your beliefs. To quote falsities/contradictions in religious works is easy but does not refute the religion. What is important is the fundamental philosophy of the works.

Everyone has the right to their own opinion, this is what wars were fought for. If we have evidence that reinforces our ideas, then we should be permitted to produce it. We do not, however, have the right to ridicule or badmouth the beliefs of others and this, I think, is what angers a lot of people. I have never reported anyone, but I have to say that I'm appalled by the lack of consideration exhibited by some people using this site.

No, everybody has the right to their opinion, so long as it doesn't threaten anybody, and the person is not trolling for kids. Let's not abuse the report button.

I don't report people who disagree with me or hold religious opinions contrary to my own. For that I would have to judge them, which my Christian beliefs prohibit.

the answer is not to report them but to argue their corner and defend their beliefs or else they can't and are pretty much agreeing with whoever upset them
