Did you figure it out by yourself, or did some one tell you about the solution for loneliness. I lived my life in complete solitude even when I were among best friends, and my own big family. I am even lonely when I am among a crowed of a large group of people. I tell you something you probably never heard of; you can be so lonely even while spending your time with your own wife. The soul mate is not whom you share your life with. The soul mate is not whom you contentedly spend your time with or enjoy his/her company. I go to a church alone that has 100 members, and I sit by myself and try to enjoy the hour of worship. When I leave I become lonelier than when I came in. The purpose of the pastor, I found, is to collect as much money as he can. Half of the time that he spend preaching is about how great is giving and how blessed are those who give the Lord. I leave the church as lonesome as I came in. I go home and try to enjoy my time with my family, I end up spending it broken hearted and feeling so much alone. I take the Bible and I start reading it and try to learn many verses by heart. When I finish reading I go to sleep, but my feeling doesn't change. I sit on my knees and pray to God and to Jesus Christ whom I acknowledge as my savior and my Lord, I some times cry asking him to take that thorn away. I go to sleep still feeling lonely and when I dose off, I doze off while in complete loneliness. Don't think I need a psychiatrist or a shrink. The solution of loneliness is the emptiness of the Holy Spirit whom alone can take that feeling away and fill you with joy and companion of His own and splendid entity. This is the solution of loneliness.

It's right !!!!!
Whenever we are busy with interesting subjects, activities we never feel that we are alone.
Be active wherever we are then we will come to know that the pople around us are in need of us.When we realise there is a purpose about our life we will try to engage as much we can.

I normally steer well clear of questions like this, and only opened it to see my cynicism rewarded. I was expecting you to say something utterly asinine like "God is the answer".
Actually, your "remedy" is right on the money - I think you've worked out an essential truth or two.

Sit at home and knit? How do all the cats figure into your remedy? That's just sad!

Oh yeah, boredom and loneliness is one hell of a bad combination... just recently, I've been hearing a voice in my head that tells me to kill everybody and how to do it...

Your last comment actually applies directly to you, you have insulted everyone on this site and don't seem to really care.
