It's a drink that used to be very popular in New York City...the Egg Cream. Choc. syrup, some milk, soda water (no egg).

I don't think you have the correct ingredients. What I thought of was a phosphate which is made from chocolate syrup and soda water.

Chocolate or cream soda, you can put ice cream in it too to make a float. They serve them at Friendly´s Restaurants on the east coast.

That's an egg cream. They were really popular in the 40s and 50s (at least that's what my mom says, she was a soda jerk), and at some old-fashion ice-cream places you can still find them. They are awesome!

chocolate soda . you used get them at drugstore that had a soda foutain . it was choclate ice cream and carbonated water and they were goooood !!! that make's me sound old to say that !try one that way they are great!!!
