I started liking a guy about 2m ago and things were great, we talked daily and he flirted with me constantly. When I returned the flirting and told him I liked him, things got even better. But shortly thereafter we both became very busy (we both travel a lot for work) and we started to talk less and less. Because we didn't talk as often, I figured he was no longer interested or only wanted me for sex ( which we had not had yet). The problem is I can't seem to stop thinking of him. No matter how I try to do other things, see or talk to other guys, go clubbing, hang out with my friends; thoughts of him keep creeping up. I can't even get away from him in my dreams. I thought I was doing all the "classic" things to "get over" someone. What am I doing wrong? What should I do?

You didn't do anything wrong, you just fell for this guy harder than you would have liked to, and that's actually a good sign that means you are capable of such emotions. And, it's natural to wonder what could have been since you really didn't get any closure in the relationship, it's easier to move on when there's a clear break-up.

You could choose to look him up and try to get it started again, sounds like he was as open to the relationship as you were, although I suspect that if you meet enough other guys you will find one that takes this guy's place in your dreams.

It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong. Some guys hang on in our thoughts longer than others.

But, if you are unsure of his intentions, why don't you give him a call and find out for yourself what his feelings for you are. It could be that like you, he felt you were uninterested in him.

Good Luck....

Well, first of all... u r not doing anything wrong... but even whn u tried ur best and tried everytning to erase his thoughts frm ur mind but still unsuccessful.... wht I see is.... u r suffering frm "cornered fobia".... it happens to the independent and aggressive persons.... who can leave anybody but cud not get left by anybody.... it happens wid me too.....

Well, u also aware that wht he has in his mind for u.... but u still unable to overcome this... thn let him allow to take the advantage.... thn he will become ur slave and u can kick his a**.

if you dont want to think about htis person again, remove all things that remind you of them, pictures, numbers, emails...that whole lot! stop all contact. only way missy. probably helps if you start dating or going for someone else too. "best way to get over someone is to find someone esle!"

Just don't see him again. Your thoughts of him will soon fade. And when your over him, then maybe you can see him again, but only maybe, because your feelings you had for him might come rushing back.

Life is about expirences, unless your a virgin why not go out with him? Perhaps it wont be as good as you imagine, perhaps it will. However you will never know unless you try.

Call him and see if he wants to go out as friends and see how it goes.
