I try cooking foods that remind me of familiar smells from home. I share these with my kids too so they will have memories attached to certain smells. Cinnamon and Sugar at Christmas. Pumpkin and nutmeg at Halloween, etc.

Hmmm... Instead of things that remind you of home, I think what you need is something that will distract you. Try taking a ballroom dancing or wine tasting class, or going to the gym, or hiking and camping, or having a girls' night out with your friends at where you live right now.

If none of the above works, give the Corous a call, and the Corous will show you a good time ;-)

Get out, join a club of some sort and try to do things that make you happy.

Personally though I have never been homesick, I just adjust to my environment and make the most of it thus never have that problem.

Look at family pics that you have with you or send postcards home. Contact someone you love on the internet.
