Another great business tactic milked using the media.
Not sure exactly what year this came into effect, but the government does not allow anyone to have "secret" formulas dealing with food anymore kept hidden, example MC D's BIG MAC secret sauce.

I wager human beings have discovered the thank you to duplicate the formula, yet i'm particular that Coke has it trademarked, so no you may actually make money off it besides. Plus, you may get your pants sued off in case you got here out and stated you had replicated the formula.

Its a closely guarded trade secret that no one who knows will even admit to knowing.
It contains NO cocaine, if that's what you're getting at. It had a tiny amount of coca plant extract 100 years ago, but they substituted caffeine when cocaine was listed as a controlled substance. ( At the concentrations then available cocaine was more like a light pick-me-up, nothing like the stuff on the streets today...)

I think the ingredients are not secret anymore. Maybe its just how you mix them all up in varying amounts that ended up as Coke, thats is probably their tradesecret.
