avoid over stimulating your hair and you use quality moisurizing products that are weightless. for a scrunchy look: after shampooing , towel dry mix together leave in conditioner, mousse, and gel on palm and scrunch finish with a medium hold hairspray. occasionaly scrunch till dry..
to dry: use a curl activating cream and a diffuser on low speed medium heat. finish with a medum hold hairspray

IF you have the money try a japanese thermal reconditioning perm. If you do NOT... Jus blow dry it straight, then flat iron it and use a de-frizzing creame. Takes tons of time but this is what u have to do!
