I wouldnt say so, At the time of his birth in arabia it was more then common for people to have wives which were around 12-18 years old. Many holy figures throughout history be they in the bible or quran etc, have been reported to have many very young wives.

Mohamed seemed to have realtions with 9-year old kids, and still there are muslims that think this is a great example to follow. Luckily most muslims find it repulsive too for what I know. It's mostly a cultural thing I suppose. It's hard to catch culture in defenitions.
Is death penalty murder? I think it is, but still many people who say to support human rights think it's an act of justice.

First of All, He got Married with The Permission of ALLAH (GOD), then for a fact, He was Proposed to Marry Ayesha binte Abubaker (May ALLAH Be Pleased With Her) by Her Father Abubaker Siddiq (May ALLAH Be Pleased With Him), and also Prophet Mohammad (May Blessings and Peace of ALLAH Be Upon Him) Married Bibi (Lady) Ayesha (May ALLAH Be Pleased With Her) with her wishes (on her agreement to Marriage), and He Married Her when She was 12 yrs old (Not 3,6 or 9, and She was quite Mature, then), and He Consummated the Marriage 3 yrs later (when she was 15, and was Ready and Got more Mature).
Don't Judge the events that took place 14 centuries ago in a place Not like urs, while keeping in mind today's customs in ur place. It is a fact, that women in Hot Climatic Region get Mature (reach Puberty) much before, than they reach in Cold Climatic Region.
How can they say that Ayesha (May ALLAH Be Pleased With Her) did not reach the age of maturity? have they ever come to know anything abt Her other than this False Allegation on Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)? have they ever read abt Her Life? have they ever read any of her statements (most of the Hadiths (Prophet's Sayings) abt women matters & problems are associated through Her), and what view she held in her eyes of Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)? She was the Most Brilliant Scholor of Women (and even brighter than some Muslim Scholor Men, as well). She was the Most Beloved Wife of Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) as well as She Loved Him too. No Doubt !!! She was The Most Devoted Wife (well, actually all were Devoted) of Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). In fact, they dont know anything abt Her, Her Life and they utter such great Lies, they all should be Ashamed of themselves. Repent of whatever they Lie, 'coz punishment for such a Lie is far too great.
