If yes, how do you say so? Please elaborate your answer. This is a serious question since I was thinking why i don't see any one who has the LIFE that makes her/him totally happy.

Yes it is absolutely possible. God himself loves simplicity and it is central in his word. Jesus Christ calls all who are burdened and tired by the exhausting and vain complexity of this life to come to him and promises that they will find rest. And he really delivers. I once was just "in your shoes" and he came into my life. I now am totally happy with my life ***because it really is HIS life***.
I’m sorry for this short and incomplete answer. Your Q’ is very serious and would need a whole lot of time and space to answer. I regret I do not “elaborate my answer” but I struggle with the English language and do not find it easy to express myself accurately (as needed in a subject like this). Besides, since simplicity is our point, here’s good chance for practice! Just remember one word: “Jesus”

As I have gotten older I have turned to a much more simple way of life and am very happy with life. I think it is much more difficult when you are raising children but mostly the simplicity is within the heart and not in the life. Don't worry about anything, Trust God that all things will work together for good if we love Him, take life a moment at a time, make time for pray every day so that you can stay close to God, judge no one, and forgive everyone. It is amazing how life flows along.

Unplug your computer, disconnect your phone, don't answer the door and turn off the tv. If you do this every so often, just for a day it helps you disconnect. If you want a simpler life, live off nature in the middle of a forest.
I'm happy with life. it isn't humanly possible to be totally happy. If you want to appreciate how good your life is go live in a 3rd world country sometime.

I often think that life would be so much better if we all lived simple lives, much like the Amish.

We would all live in small, tight knit communities where you didn't have to worry about locking your door at night.

You could depend on your neighbor to help you out, and you would feel very welcome and loved.

I do believe that there is such a thing as being satisfied with life, and it is possible to live a simple life.

Yes, there will be moments where you may feel like giving up on the world and dying, but what good will that do? If you are living right now, you have a purpose in life.

Simple is relative. People 50, 100, and 200 years ago asked the same question. People in all times were busy. Americans today think they are something special because they are so busy but they aren't any busier than Americans of the past.

The secret to simple is to live by convictions. Throw away everything that doesn't help you live by your convictions.

What do you want your life to mean? What are your dreams for your life? Toss aside all the distractions that don't help you achieve your meaning, your dreams.

Do you really want to sit on the couch, eat burgers, watch TV and get fat, heart attack and death?

You want your life to count for more. So get after it!

i am making plans to give it a shot at least. I am planning on buying some cheap land, live in a cheap house, and do farming. But I wont live like the amish. With modern technology and information, I should be able to live on a farm better than most people in the past. Of course I still have to rely on water, it shouldnt be too hard. I would desire less, keep expenses down. stop watching the news, pay bills every 6 months instead of week to week. I would still hope to produce something to sell. Keep to my self, not too much. I think that would be living simply. Less distractions, less desire. Something like that. Dont read into it too much, its just a general overview.
you can be totally happy, if you like challenges

Yes, it is possible to have a simple life and be happy with it. All it takes is knowing that you can be satisfied, that you don't have to have the newest gadget that comes out in the store... You don't have to have the newest luxury vehicle, the newest home, the best boat, the coolest bike, etc. Life is not a competition. You are not competing with the "Joneses" Contentment breeds happiness.

Simple life and happiness = being content with what you have.

It is possible to have a simpler life by choosing to have one. It is not easy to do. Leave lots of margin in your life and don't have so much going on in your life.

I think you'll enjoy 'Off the Map'. It has Sam Elliot in it, and it was filmed in New Mexico.
Their life in the film couldn't be simpler.
Rent the movie

My life is completely happy because it is kept simple.

The decisions are based on my own experiences and do not rely on other people's opinions.

My experiences are of my choosing, so I have nurtured how I feel towards things.

THe more you draw others into your thought processes, the more complex it gets...does this make me selfish? maybe...but I am the master of my own destiny...it works for me!!
