I would suggest a movie. Thats where I went on my first date when I was your age and that was only a few years ago. The first date can be awkward for you and her, and a movie you dont have to do much talking and you can be nice by buying her popcorn and letting her pick the movie even if it is a girly movie. Just be a gentlemen. Dont try to make out with her during the movie. Holding her hand or putting your arm around her would be fine. Plus yours and her parents would probably be comfertable with a movie. Good Luck...

Dude, whatever you do, don't do a movie, you can't talk and have fun and get to know someone. Then again you're only 13 so maybe dinner and a movie would work. Otherwise I'd say go bowling, mini-golf, or laser tag. Just go and have fun, and don't put so much pressure on yourself or the whole date scenario or you will be way too uptight and have a horrible time. Don't be nervous, be yourself, have fun, and be a gentleman, Best of luck

Thanks for your question. You made me think about my first date which was a very long time ago. Really, thank you.

Think about this. Where ever you decide to take your friend make sure it is a fun place for both of you. I really don't know what young people your age like these days. But here are some ideas from the old days.

A school event.
A movie.
If you live in the USA, a Haunted House. Halloween is near.
A theme park.
A sports event.
An Ice Cream parlor.

Just remember this. Anywhere you do go, celebrate it with your friend. It will be for the rest of your life the "first time!"

Have fun but be safe.

It depends with the personality of the girl you will be dating with. If she's a classic "social" girl, you can take her to a dinner date in a fine restaurant. I can suggest with music please...

and if she's the type what we call "cowboys"( girls that are easy to deal with because they are not picky..) if she is like that.. goo dfor you.. because it will not be a problem you can go wherever you want. maybe you can prepare a candlelit dinner to a shore...
or walking to the mall... watching movie.. or going to a well known place have a picnic so you can talk and be comfortable with each other..

hope this would help you..
and good luck!

How about a movie? What do kids your age do in your town? Do something you and your date like to do. oh and by the way dinner is first date material, just when your older. GL

How about somewhere to get drinks (non-alcoholic of course) like a juice bar or Starbucks (they serve more than just coffee)? Going to the movies is too cliched, and you'll spend 2 hours looking at the screen, when you should be finding out about her.

I would recommend at your age to go to Micky D's for a burger and maybe a night at a miniature golf course. Anywhere you can talk to her and be heard.
