It sounds as though she has problems dealing with reality. My mother is exactly like you're describing your friend. I know my mother has self-esteem issues and suffers from depression. Several times, I have reccommended that my mother go to a psychiatrist if for no other reason than to be put on anti-depressants. My mother absolutely refuses to listen -- that's another one of her symptoms -- the stubborn inability to do anything on her own, but not do anything anyone else suggests either. However, your friend sounds younger than my mother. Perhaps she will listen. Tell her to seek out a psychiatrist.

Sounds Quite Serious has she always been like this or has she started to behave like that lately. Give her The Homeopathic Remedy SULFUR 30C thrice a day for three or four days and let me know the results. It sounds like lead or aluminum poisoning or something like it, get her checked by a Doctor.
Take Care and God Bless !

the only thing that i think you can really do is just be a good friend and keep pushing her A LOT! really, a good friend shows they care no matter how harsh you are by always saying something. show her and don't tell her what she should be doing for herself. it's ok to work with daddy so daddy could take care of you but daddy can't always hold your hand.

Sorry, but there's not much you can do. The first step would be for HER to recognize that she has a problem. Otherwise, why would she want to change? She must have something nice about her, though, why else would you care? Try spelling it out to her, just as you did here, maybe that'll help.

Jack LaLanne or Richard Simmons might be able to help. If not, try Billy Blanks.

I think if I were you I'd learn to make complete sentences and speak proper English before criticizing someone else.

Let her fall flat on her face.

Who are you, her mother? Mind your own business and stop judging her. If you can't accept her the way she is, you are NOT a friend.
