All sorts of farming destroys rainforests because of the clearing of rainforests for new land (because the old soil gets infertile)

Other than that, I don't think so.

rain forests are being cleared out by ignorance and greed. Did you know that most wood chopped down is used for heating and cooking?

But many wood derived products, like grocery bags, are made from trees grown on tree farms So, it isn't depleting forests that way.

If we lose enough rainforest many air breathing animals will die as most of the world's fresh air is generated by them.
