No it's like believing in water -- it can take 3 forms: gas, liquid or solid.

No it is not difficult to believe OR understand. As a Christian, this is the fundamentals. The Godhead consists of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Godhead is made of The Father, The Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit.
This is called the Trinity. They are different, and yet the same.
Some people think Christians worship three Gods, and now this is not true. Because the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are ONE.
When we pray, we pray In Jesus Name, because human were cut off from God because of sin, but through the sacrifice of Jesus, we have that "bridge" which connects us to the Father again.
Jesus said He is the way, and no one will come to the Father except through Him.
Today, Jesus is still that "bridge" for you and me. He will continue to intercede for us until He comes again.

I'm a Christian, and I don't believe in the trinity. So to me, believing in the trinity is a very hard thing to do since it doesn't exist.

God, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three separate beings with different roles, one in purpose. They make the Godhead or the Trinity. You can read this understand it clearly:
... I would that ye should understand that God himself shall come down among the children of men, and shall redeem his people.
2 And because he dwelleth in flesh he shall be called the Son of God, and having subjected the flesh to the will of the Father, being the Father and the Son—
3 The Father, because he was conceived by the power of God; and the Son, because of the flesh; thus becoming the Father and Son—
4 And they are one God, yea, the very Eternal Father of heaven and of earth.
5 And thus the flesh becoming subject to the Spirit, or the Son to the Father, being one God, suffereth temptation, and yieldeth not to the temptation, but suffereth himself to be mocked, and scourged, and cast out, and disowned by his people.
6 And after all this, after working many mighty miracles among the children of men, he shall be led, yea, even as Isaiah said, as a sheep before the shearer is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.
7 Yea, even so he shall be led, crucified, and slain, the flesh becoming subject even unto death, the will of the Son being swallowed up in the will of the Father.
8 And thus God breaketh the bands of death, having gained the victory over death; giving the Son power to make intercession for the children of men—
9 Having ascended into heaven, having the bowels of mercy; being filled with compassion towards the children of men; standing betwixt them and justice; having broken the bands of death, taken upon himself their iniquity and their transgressions, having redeemed them, and satisfied the demands of justice.
The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us.
23 A man may receive the Holy Ghost, and it may descend upon him and not tarry with him
The concept Trinity God exists in three forms is a false doctrine - a man made doctrine.

Once the decision to believe the Bible is dealt with in your life, there are no more decisions. If it is taught in the Bible we just accept it. The idea that God is a Faher, Son, and a Holy Spirit is taught througout the Bible in many many passages so why would it be difficulat to believe in it? We may not fully understand it with our hman minds, but there is no difficulty acccepting it.

no, not at all. the bible tells us of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God and God the Son are the esiest for people to understand, and God the Spirit -- just think to Mary's overshadowing. we all know Jesus was the Son of God, was God in human flesh and He sent His Spirit....
i give my kudo's to the gentlemen above who talked of water in three forms -- outstanding analogy!!!
