He met a car accident and according to him, his neck was in pain as well as his head. I am so worried about him. How I wish I could simply come out of his computer so as to be there by his bedside and take care of him.

You need certified documents of the sickness and may need an invitation letter. This will move your request to the front of the line, so to speak. But, assure your answers are perfect; they are not dumb. Not being ip front will void the energency visa. Tell the truth.

Go the the website www.cic.g.ca . In the visa section you'll be able to find a Temporary Resident visa for people wanting to come and visit Canada. The visa application fom is there and the guide also to help fill out the application. All the requirements are written down with all the information you need.

Hope you have someone or close relative to visit him while you are in the Philippines, as completing all the requirements and processing visa takes time and money, as goes with the visa approval just for the reason that you are going to visit a sick friend, as your intention is real and geniune, it always been hard to see someone dear to you and not being with them the time they needed us. There are many Filipinos here in Canada, they always help and support each others as most of them are now living here for a long time, if they know your friend, surely they would be there for your absence...
As for getting a visa, start by checking the canada immigration requirements and procedures..

go to canadian embassy...bring a proof that ur friend is sick...and say u want to visit...it usually work for close family members...who knows, i f u are really 'maganda' try ur charms...it might work.
