being an assh0le is a noble profession. I would take up the call myself but my day job of being a leach on society takes up too much of my time

Acknowledging that you are an *sshole is a good start. Most people won't admit to their inadequacies. You should try to find out why you are judging yourself as an *sshole. What do you do to make you appear this way to yourself. Do others agree with you and call you an *sshole? Identify the problem and then go to work on it. If you require professional help and you can afford it, by all means do so. A trained professional can help identify why you consider yourself in this manner.

Because you choose to be one? No one makes you act the way you act. You have a choice, unless you're heavily medicated.

No, all professional "help" does is change your behavior so that psychiatrists will approve of it. Be who you are, and don't let anyone tell you differently.
