Worse thing you can do is be a quitter.
Remember, God has three answers to a prayer. Yes, No and Wait.
In His time, He makes all things beautiful.
SO, just continue to PUSH
P- Pray
U- Until
S- Something
H- Happens
Dont give up. God didnt give up on you, so dont give up on Him.

When prayers are not answered, there's a sense of despair and disappointment. It creates doubts about God's existence. But that can only be a temporary feeling. Everything has a reason. And unanswered prayers too have a reason. It's best to ask God to provide the strength and support to get over with the disappointment and sadness and move on.

Accept that what you want, is not the will of God, maybe just your will.
Often things we pray for do not come true, only to realize later that God had something else in mind for you, sometimes better than what you have prayed for.
Only when this 'better' thing in your life happens, will you understand why this prayer didn't come true.
God has a plan, what you are praying for might not be part of that plan.

I have been praying all my life. What does a year count?
Sometimes your prayers may not answer in the way you are expecting, so keep an open mind. Check if you should be praying for whatever you are praying for in the first place. If your prayers are appropriate and proper then don't give up.

There are 2 main cases where our prayers are not given to us by God.
- If what you are asking has to be come be taking it away from some one who should actually deserve it more. Many times we pray for something that actually belongs to others. That other person may also be praying for the same. Such prayers are still answered when we come to deserve it more. So honesty in prayer means that you are honest that you deserve it.
- Check if what you are asking in prayer is actually good for you. We out of Ignorance sometimes desire something that is not good for us. Just like a girl seeing mother cooking, asks mother that she too wants to cook. Such prayers are not accepted by God for the reason that he loves you and does not want harm to come your way.
Actually Bhagavad Gita asks us not to pray for material things. It’s like going to a very very rich man and asking for a dollar. The aim of prayer should be for purification and going back to Kingdom of God. We must pray to be able to control our mind and senses so as to not commit sins.
Of course God fulfills all our desires, sometimes even in dream. This life that we live is also compared to Dream state. What you get in Dream is temporary, and so is that you get in this life. So we have to be very careful as to what we ask God. God is not ungrateful person. But there is a lot of difference in the point of view from which he sees your prayer and the point of view with which we see our prayer.
He of course acts in a way that is best for you, as he is the best well-wisher of all Living entity.

Just praying will not make things happen, we have to do take initiatives and plan correctly for the prayer to come true. Prayer is just a confidence booster and our actions are as important as prayer.

When you pray, you are really asking if it is God's will. Not all prayers will be answered right away, or may not be God's will. Maybe it does not make much sense to you now, but later there may be a reason for it, and you do not know yet what that reason is. It may be years, but there is usually a reason. Trust in God and do not lose your faith.

Because your pray long and earnestly does not guarantee the prayer will come true. U need to have a relationship with God and ask for the right things..in the right way. Even then u still may not get what you want cos it may not be the best for you.

For one, stop expecting some deity to interfere with the way things work in this world, or indeed the universe itself. For another, if you must pray then pray for the benefit of others rather than for something you want for yourself. I am not a believer but I still might pray at times...like for the family of Steve Irwin.

Review the prayer. Does it really need resolved this way?
Am I limiting God? Is it his will or yours?
Am I aligned with God or are my actions separating me from God?
Is there anything I can do? If not then give it to God to resolve.
Step out in faith.
