You think that way because you may have had a bad incident witha pretty girl at one point or another. Maybe getting teased or something.
You have to remember that there is nothing wrong with you. Kids are kids and will be mean for whatever reasons, which are usually stupid anyway.
Keep in mind the diversity of the world we live in. Just because one girl doesn't like you, doesn't mean no other girl could like you.

All i know is if you keep in that state of mind you might let the right girl pass you by. it sounds like you have a low self esteem problem and you should really get over it and give it a try if the girl really likes you it could be the start of something new..DON'T BE SHY..Go give it a try..you ll feel better once you do!

Confidence mmy firend...You need to have it...Since it sounds like your self esteem is low, go to the gym, do it regularly...Try to make yourself feel better about you. Tell yourself that you're the man and women love you and eventually you will beleive it...The line between confidence and egoism is thin so tread it bare...This transformation will not be over ight it will take time and practice...Start talking to women,that you find attractive. CHange the way you dress, make yorself noticable...

I think that you probably DO have self-esteem and confidence, but perhaps you have dated a few girls who have cheated on you? If so, just remember to 'look at her with your eyes closed'. Try to see her personality and heart. How does she treat other people? When you really believe that she is a good person, you will have no problem believing that her feelings, and words, are genuine.
