My son is 15. The girl he likes is 17. It is obvious that she likes him also. She is our Pastor's daughter, and my son feels intimadated by that fact, and also by the fact that she is very pretty, (he is a very nice looking young man too) she is not allowed to date, neither is he (they both have been raised Christian) He says he does not want to feel vunerable, or invest his emotions just to find out that she was just being kind and polite, and that she may not really like him. I have told him to be confident, in charge (without being a chauvenist) and told him to try and find a creative way to let her know that he is interested in spending time with her to see if they might possibly have a future together. What do you think ?

Sounds like you are on the right track. How about inviting the Pastor and his family over for dinner sometime. That would give the kids time to spend together just to see if they even like each other.

I think its a nice idea, but i would suggest that you dont try to help him. Theres nothing worse for a young boy than needing his mother to get him a girlfriend. Support him, but dont try to force the relationship. He sounds like a nice, intelligent boy, and it might be easiest just for him to talk to her own their own, if they are able. If she isnt allowed to be in the company of a boy on her own, maybe you can help him by distracting her parents for a while. But dont try to be more 'hands-on' then that. They need to work this out for themselves.
GoodLuck, I hope that it all goes well for both you and your son:)

Stay out of this.Mothers have to allow their son's to grow up.Neither can date,so what is the point? If they aren't to be together God will make the way.Your job is to pray.
Good luck mom.

I'm not Christian and I still think you've done just fine. Love, like God, will find a way. God bless.

All, he has to do is make and sustain eye contact. The eyes do the talking most of the time for me.

That is you son's problem. Let your him fix that. You are only to help him by comforting him, giving him advice and giving him courage.
