massage ur scalp with luke warm olive oil every weekend. let it stay for an hour and wrap a steamed towel around it for 10 min and then shampoo with a mild shampoo. clairol herbal for dry hair is good. apply conditioner only to the hair shaft and roots, not the scalp as the residue will make ur scalp itchy. u can also use home made hair masks like eggs, beer, henna, mayo once a fortnight for exta shine. pop 1-2 vitmain e capsules in these masks for super glossy hair.

The main cause of 'dry scalp and flakiness' is silicone. It is most shop bought shampoo's which is why you are having this problem. It dehydrates the hair also and coats it in like a waxy layer. If you are getting a dry scalp this is where the silicone is sitting on your scalp. The best one to use to soothe an itchy scalp is L'anza Remedy Shampoo, this will help to hydrate your hair and is really worth spending the money on. Anything from Boots etc is highly likely to contain Silicone aggrivating the problem further! Hope this helps x

-SHAMPOO: Palmolive, Dove, Dor
-FRUIT: All fruit are good for the hair
-WAYS TO WASH: Wash your hair with cold water, it makes them shine. Then make your own shampoo:
-2 spoons of lava sand (pharmacy)
-80 ml hot water
Let it for an hour in a bowl, but do NOT apply it on your hair yet.
Then add 5 drops of levander oil.
Rub your head with that, let it act for a couple of minutes, and then wash them well.
When you dry your hair, roll a hot, wet towel around your head like a turban, and let them dry. But be careful: Wet hair are very sensitive and violent moves will break the roots. So when you put the towel around your head, bend over and pet your hair from the roots to the edges. Then slowly, carefully, put the towel.
When your hair is dry, take your time combing them, and don't do sudden movements. At the end, if you follow these instructions, your hair will be shiny and soft and your scalp will be even softer.
Be careful: This must only be done one time a week, or else your hair will be overly soft and break easier. The ingredience will help you, but if you use them many times, your hair will lose its power, softness and shine.
Don't hesitate to go outside for a walk or to the sea. The fresh air will make your skin even softer, and will help you with health problems.

i recommend alterna caviar shampoo and conditioner because my sister had the same problem and she used and it worked. just stop washing every day. when shampooing scrub scalp very good to get dry scalp off. when conditioning massage your scalp very good and leave conditioner on for about 3-5 minutes then rinse with cool water. i recommend washing your hair first thing in the shower and while the conditioner is setting wash, and shave and all that. then finish off with a cool rinse. this closes the hairs cuticle trapping all the moisture. and stimulates blood flow.
pantene and a few other store bought products contain an ingredient found in floor wax (that's why they make your hair soooo shiny) that coats your hair, not letting and moisture or nutrients in.

you should attempt Paul Mitchell - they have a sparkling 'show type' line that's aimed in direction of getting swifter drying outcomes (i think of the product you like is termed rapid Slip, around £8-10 from salon that inventory Paul Mitchell). additionally verify you tough dry your hair as much as attainable in the previous blow drying. as an occasion - towel dry, prepare products, dry greater or less utilising merely palms and dryer until 80% dry, then use a broom with the dryer to soft a touch, and ultimately use straighteners. Or in all probability pass over out the blow drying fullyyt! i comprehend it sounds bizarre however the straighteners we use now are lots greater effective and can actually straighten even the main frizzy, tough dried, hair!

You are probably over washing with the wrong shampoo. It is a alcohol based shampoo. Or you have well water. I will switch to a shampoo like Redkin or Paul Mitchell and wash only every other day or less for awhile. Massage with your fingers for awhile and see if you can get some oils to the scalp to help the itching.

Clynol have a great product out...I.D care...it consists of a pre treatment and a repair ....it contains collagen which bonds the hair follicles and makes it beautifully shiny and managable. it cost me £8.00 a bottle but I got it at cost, you need the 2 bottles , but it's a 2 weekly treatment and you only use 3 to 5 pumps at a time, so it lasts for ages, I personally swear by it, it's been a real miracle for me, but it's up to you, you should be able to get it at your hair dressers.

I had this problem. I used head and shoulders shampoo until the flaky scalp went away, then changed to a natural shampoo and conditioner with essential oils. Mainly rosemary oil. It's fantastic.
