your car locks are not like most in that they do not have linkages, they have cables. Not an easy car to get into. 'Slim jim' will not work on the average because most people that have them don't really know how to use them. Call someone who is trained. THE POLICE ARE NOT TRAINED. Locksmiths and car unlocking services are trained. (Watching a one hour video is not training.) So you call a trained person that will charge you a fair price for coming out and unlocking your car without damaging it. If you don't think the prices are fair then call around for a better price then consider the cost of glass and weatherstrip replacement. Not trying to be mean but I am really disappointed in the anti-locksmith mentality I keep seeing.

If you are able to access the top window area with a wire (coat hanger works good bent in the right position) this will do wonders, or if you have nice police where you are, some will come out and try to help you get the door open. Last resort call a locksmith but that can be big bucks depending on the ls.

home made slim jim won't work as Ford made it impossible to access the linkage at the lock...

you're looking at how most pop a locks do it... pry the door open at the top or toward the back and pry on the door handle or hit the lock/unlock button... most new ones are going to that now...

and yeah onstar..... hum need cell service for it to work... plus after first year you got to pay them $17.00/month for the privelige....

plus you haven't heard that many owners will either loose use of onstar or have to convert to a new module when analog cell service goes in 2008

Make a one inch U interior the top of the hanger and slide this in between the window and the rubber trim. Slide it in some foot and turn the hanger approximately 40 5 ranges and slowly pull up and in the direction of the front of the motor vehicle (it would desire to take numerous tries) .once you catch some thing pull up and forward and be waiting to boost the door take care of. stable good fortune.

Sell the car and buy a GM vehicle with OnSTar. Then call onstar to open the vehicle for you.
