any local recruiting center, but if you really want to some technical job in the military i suggest you study up for it they have books for sell called the study guide for the asvab, it deals with everything from math, to reading comprehension, mechanical skills and a couple more. good luck and if you are physically and mentally tough and are joining for the right reasons you might be able to cut it in the Marine Corps

the best place to take the asvab is to contact with a recruiter and they can direct you to the nearest MEPS (military entrace processing station) also some college will offer the exam to you. but a recruiter can tell you more about that option too.
