Getting her here is going to be the tough part. If you're thinking about a K-1 (fiancee') visa, that could take 6-8 months of processing time, proof of your relationship (which will likely require you to visit her in Vietnam) and the application is likely to be turned down because the U.S. consulate in Vietnam has practically shut down approving K-1 visas due to so much abuse of the system.
If you're lucky enough to get her over here, dealing with 500 of your closest friends and relatives is nothing.
As for marrying someone over the Internet... I wouldn't do it even if I wasn't already engaged, because I know most Viet girls who find American boyfriends online are just trying to find a way to come to America.

I did...just take your time because I sure wish i had...we got married 3 months after meeting on the net, and it's NOT enough time to get to know someone well enough to marry them. I have regrets...
