Being Gay and Being a pedophile are two different things
And there are some denominations that have Gay Clergy. I dont youll see it anytime soon with the Catholic church
To me there is a difference between being Gay and actively participateing in sodomy or being with another man. It clearly states in the Bible that "laying with another man" is a sin. Clergy that actively do this i believe are hypocrits. You can not actively keep doing the same sin over and over unrepentantly and Teach the Bible and uphold the church's values and that of the Holy word itself. But i believe you can be Gay and still preach even though they may have commited the sin in the past. after all Everyone sins.

Even the roman church admits celibate gay priests, and often puts up with active gay priests.

There are plenty of gay priests. There are gay people everywhere!
That said, it is important to distinguish 'gay' from 'pedophile.' One does not neccesarily imply the other.

I know of gay priest in the Wiccan and pagan community...They do not discriminate. You earn your status. Threw years of study.
