Ok, I am bartender and I love it. Not a club or crazy place. A restaurant with regulars but get late nighters as well. Mixed crowd (Old & young). It seems I get hit on by older women more often then the younger women. I am young myself and look younger then I am. I am outgoing so it's not the lack of conversation or subject matter. I seem classified as goodlooking (This is what I am told) I am not complaning but just wondering. Do the younger women like to play hard to get ? I think its kind of funny. Thanks ladies.

Believe it or not I am not looking for a gf work ....lol. I will do fine elsewhere but I was curious. I do agree that the older women do come off alot more aggressive.

Yo chef dude.....have no idea what are you are talking about. Asked a simple question just for ladies. By the way, there is a spell check you could use before answering a question. Helps in making you seem intelligent. Just a suggestion my man.

Again, thank you LADIES! All good!

The old chicks just aren't as shy. I've never asked a guy out in my life. Fear of rejection. Thanks for saying you like my pic!

I'm going to just take a guess and possibly offend some people with stereotypes. How about this: The younger women that come into your bar may come in while with a guy or something of the sort where it's not that they're playing hard to get, but simply are not looking for romantic attention while the older women that possibly go into bars are more likely to be single, come in alone, and have a thing for 'fresh meat' as that seems to be the fad right now.

Tended bar for over 10 years. The thing w/ older women is fairly common If they are in groups, I think it is a matter of confidence. As a bartender you are fair game. You have to be pleasant. but at the same time they can joke with you and not feel rejected if you decline the proposition.I let you in on a little secret with the younger girls. They expect to be hit on and catered to.Do your job, and be congenial, but nothing more. If you aren't showing any special attention to them they will behave just like the older women. Trust me it works. You''l get offers from young ladies that your friends will never believe. Enjoy the job, and try the advice. You can thank me later.

haha maybe hard to get. usually younger ladies wait for you to initiate the move. maybe by winking or starting conversations while making their drinks. the older women are more experienced and straightforward, and probably more desperate--that's why they come off stronger. but you should be fine getting younger women--just be more aggressive

you lack self recognation .for how long will you continue relaying on other people observation?you know old women are not attractive as such but they have money so they tend to target young generation and viceverser to mens.can you wake up and go where you belong before you fall a prey to them!
