Interesting that it is recognized that America doesn't qualify according to the criteria used. I think our founding Fathers would turn over in their graves in tandem at the path we have taken that has disovled that particular aspect of our nation, but that is just me.
More to the point, what do you think Christians think about living in a Muslim nation where their lives are in danger with every breath that they take because they are not allowed to BE Christians and live!

If you are referring to America, I suggest you do your research. For you are sorely misled The founding Fathers were Mosty Deist, one was an atheist and none were Christian.
Most interesting among our founders, John Adams actually stated that religion is for the little people, not the superior minded people like him and Jefferson.
-There is no mention of God or Jesus in the Constitution. A "Creator" is referred to in the Dec. of Ind., but it is not specified to be the Christian one.
-The Treaty of Tripoli, ratified June 10, 1797: "As the Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion; ..."
-The original Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892 and did not contain the phrase "under God". It was not added until 1954 under the Eisenhower administration, influenced by the Cold War against the "godless Communists" at the time.
-The words "In God We Trust" were not printed on our bills or coins until after the Civil War.
-Virtually every major Founding Father was not a Christian, or at least doubted it in some aspects. Several quotes for each one:

Christian nation is not very old indeed. Before Jesus came people lived and worshiped The One Almighty God. Which I guess was correct..
Those who put the foundation of Chirstianity, even not Jesus himself and his apprentists, but people who had decided to create of NEW way of religious belief.. They took the coming of Jesus as a basic and wrote scripts and books which are famous as New Testament texts of modern bIble.
I think they lead many nations astray and have done is wery well indeed..
Christian society initially planned wrongly, so I look at it as at society which influence on the people minds bad way.
I am ex christian, prefer to live as far as i can from Christian countries

A nation or land does not belong to One Religion or Sect.
Land belongs to God and will always belong to him.
Be merciful on that God who gave you place to Live and food to eat. The same God sent his outer messenger to glorify his name in other parts of the world..
It would be selfish of Christians not to allow other in this land of God. Then they would behave just as a Dog that urinates at corners and does not allow others in his urinated place.
Christians aims at returning back to Heaven, then that is their actual place...

America has many Christians in it, however, it is NOT a Christian nation. Trust me. The constitution does not mention Jesus anywhere it.
Additionally, I suspect do not kill or steal laws existed long before Chrsitianity.

Don't Muslims worship the same God as Christians?
Many Christians accept the Muslim claim that we both worship the same God. They claim that they call him Allah, while we call him God. It is not unusual to hear Christian leaders make such statements. Bible societies have even gone so far as to use the name Allah in the Bibles they produce for Arab Christians.
The problem with this is two-fold. First, history and archeology show clearly that Allah was worshipped as a pagan moon god long before Mohammed came on the scene. Robert Morey, author of The Islamic Invasion, explains:
"Islam's origins have been traced back by scholars to the ancient fertility religion of the worship of the moon god which was always the dominant religion of Arabia. The moon god was worshipped by praying toward Mecca several times a day, making an annual pilgrimage to the Kabah which was a temple of the moon god, running around the Kabah seven times, caressing an idol of a black stone set in the wall of the Kabah, running between two hills, making animal sacrifices, gathering on Fridays for prayers, giving alms to the poor, etc. These were pagan rites practiced by the Arabs long before Muhammad was born."
"What religion today practices the pagan rites of the moon god? Islam! This explains why the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam. It is placed on top of mosques and minarets and displayed on hats, flags, rugs, amulets and even jewelry. Every time you see the Muslim symbol of a crescent moon, you are seeing the ancient symbol of the moon god."
Second, if you read the Qur'an's description of Allah, and read the Bible's description of God, it becomes obvious you are reading about two different persons. Allah orders his followers to kill those who deny Islam, while God instructs us to love our enemies. Allah had no son while God sent His Son to die for sinful men. Allah is "unknowable" while God seeks a personal relationship with His creation, man.
The spirit behind Islam is an entirely different spirit... a spirit that denies the deity of Jesus Christ. Any Christian who accepts the notion that Allah is God creates an impossible situation. Since the Qur'an contains our only revelation about Allah, they will be forced to look there as their authority. The Qur'an specifically denies the deity of Christ! All Christian witness ends right there.

Who cares, no matter where they live, they will try to convert people, just like christians do. Keep your religion in your churches and mosques and out of public view.
