Outstanding! Super! A great choice!

Ok, as a Master Fitness Trainer, and a senior member of the IFPA, welcome to the world of a personal fitness trainer.

Here is what you need to do:

Review information on our web page (www.ifpa-fitness.com).
This is just for some reading, if there is no IFPA certification courses by you, they are several other organizations.

Personal Certification is a core program for safe and effective personal training, and will increase yourfitness and nutrition knowledge. You can also get specialized courses in: Bodybuilding, Aerobics, Core Training/Functional Training, Fitness Facility Manager, etc, etc.

It is an outstanding career field, and I wish you the very, very best in choosing to be a Personal Fitness Trainer.

Exactly what diamondk said. You can also do it in a "Home Study" environment. It is an open career field. Being a personal fitness trainer and nutritionist, it is a great feeling to help people with their diet, exercise, and nutrition.

You have to undergo a fitness course which teaches on anatomy, little physiology, kinesiology and body building.

You have to undergo both written and practical exam to get a diploma in this.

At the end of the course you will be awarded a dipoma in personal trainer.

there are many places that teach. however the best two are premier and YMCA. you can get trained (diploma)by premier in 12 weeks i think however it costs allot around the 4 grand mark you can however do separate modules these cost about 500 a week. YMCA is much much cheaper and is done on a day/morning a week for a year at a time.depends what you want ,time and cost. These are the best two dont do a mickey mouse coure that alows you do do nothing.
