No but I'll give you an example of it....the teaching of evolution in the public schools. In 1925, when creation was the only doctrine that was allowed in our public schools about origins, Clarence Darrow, the ACLU lawyer who was defending evolution in the famous Scopes Trial, said "to allow only point of view on origins(the creation view) is educational brainwashing". Funny, the ACLU today doesn't have any problem with the fact that there's still only one view allowed on origins. I guess that's because that one view today is evolution. I wonder why that's not still called brainwashing.

Brainwashing, also known as thought reform or re-education, is the application of coercive techniques to change the beliefs or behavior of one or more people usually for political or religious purposes. Whether any techniques at all exist that will actually work to change thought and behavior to the degree that the term "brainwashing" connotes is a controversial and at times hotly debated question

Loss of willpower, try reading the bible, and thats close enough. When brainwashed, be alert for the following symtoms: Irrational ideas, a sense of group community, and unreasonable loyalty to a person, or higher power.
