Red Skeleton
He was a man of honor and treated all his guest on his show with the utmost respect. He never had a curse word spoken on his show. He was so funny that he cracked himself up almost every time he was in front of the camera.
He brought so many well known comedians in front of the camera. Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Dom Delouse, Harvey Carmen, etc.... Just to name a few.
His miming was one of the funniest presentations and he made a clown look so sad.
I loved Red Skeleton and still to this day, there has not been any other comedian come close to his humor.
Famous last words at the end of each show, "God Bless."

My favorite is Lewis Black, but I'm sure there are others who have far greater success. Yet, he is my favorite stand up comedian. You can imagine he's like a uncle or grandfather that is just a little screwy.

These two were the best in my opinion. Neither had to lower themselves to use languague that was off color to get a laugh. Nor did they think that insulting someone was the way to make people laugh.
