me and my friend have a bet going. he says adolf hitler invented the knock knock joke!! I say no way, this can't possibly be true! he said hitler was a very funny guy in his younger years and I find this impossible to believe. so settle this once and for all so I can collect my $10.00.

Hitler was a well known genius with people of the mother land. it is written in the skins of the one's he "might" have killed. the knock knock joke did in fact come from hitler. i read in the onion newspaper, not to mention it was believed to be a rumor. and rumor never lies.

Big A H (as his homies knew him) was the inventor of many things history did not credit him with. Unfortunately the Knock-knock joke was not meant to be humorous at all, but as a mind numbingly horrible way for "undesirables" to commit mass suicide. You see Big A H thought that by telling the same lame setup and punch line over and over agian would cause the "inferior races" to become so bored they would kill themselves just to stop the pain. Unfortunatly they caught on to his plan and pretended to find the Knock-knock joke funny. And laughed at them so much that WWII became inevitable. This tradtion of telling lame knock-knock jokes is carried on by children today. Untill they learn how funny farts are.

I highly doubt he did, altho he was violently smart, I don't think his pickle of a brain would have the capacity to come up with humour. He was a tool :)

aldulf hitlers nephew was a comedian come acter so maybe that is where it came from he used his uncles name to get respect at that time
