I have to take my kitten to the Vet Thursday for part of her check up and shots. They asked me to bring in a fecal sample. know that they want me to bring in poop (Gross). But what do they want? Like a fresh piece out of little litter box with the little rocks on it in a plastic baggie or something?

LOL...yes, they mean a fresh piece of poop from the litter box. You don't have to pick off the litter from it. They will only need a tiny smear to put on a slide to examine under a microscope, to see if kittie has worms and other things going on inside. Just put a whole piece in a baggie and seal it. It's not that bad.

A fresh piece in a little plastic baggie. The vet will understand about the kitty litter left on it, because who would sit around their cat's litter box waiting for Kitty to take a dump, then try and catch said poo?

Hi Kerri, I know that is gross,But they need this to run test and see if your cat haves round worms, hook worms or whip worms.Yes,They need a fresh piece of poop from your cat.Try and get a sample in the morning, before the vet appointment. We all have gone through this more than onces. So be a trooper and get the job done.

Exactly. I use a sandwich bag that zips shut. Use a tissue to pick up a piece from the litter box. They ask this because they run a test for worms and if your kitten has them you want to know so you can seek treatment.

Just pick a piece out of the litter box. It's fine with the litter and stuff stuck to it. Some veterinary practices actually provide you with a sealable bag to bring it in.

one thank you to teach the non-existence of a few element is to teach that the existence of that ingredient is an impossibility. you may desire to now not bypass approximately disproving each and each available considered "God" yet you may desire to disprove particular Gods utilising actuality they are nonsensical. A God that loves all individuals yet sentences the staggering public of people to burn in Hell for all eternity for example is a contradiction. The Christians attempt to word the straw-guy that on the grounds which you may desire to now not disprove the universe had a author then it is going to have been made with the help of THEIR author. the version between a hypothetical intelligence that created the universe and their own own God is obviously great.

You should ask your vet about the details, like how fresh it has to be. The baggie is definitely a good idea.

yes, fresh one. They look for worms and eggs under the microscope. If you can't get a fresh one, I've had them just stick a q tip in their butts at the vets office, usually can get stuff that way........
