My ex-husband did that to me and it almost cost me my job. You friend must be livid! I would apologize in person ( not at work ) Make sure you tell her why you thought it was horridly wrong of you. make sure you look her in the eyes when you say I'm sorry touch is important to If she is a lil more then friend take her hand while apologizing that way when all is said and done you will easily have her to pull in for a heart to heart hug. Also you need to re-evaluate you drinking, You may not think you have a problem but your actions speak louder. You might not need a total 12 step but your on the road there. before you make your grand IM SO SORRY speech do a little self exam to see whats making you choose the wronge path. It will help you in the long run

Go to her, (sober this time) apologize, assure her this will not happen again. Ask if it caused harm in her workplace, if it did, make things right. Offer her a night out with events of her choosing. Make the evening a sweet memorable one. If this don't set things right..then you should cut your loses..Your fault, you messed up! Good Luck..

Tell her what you just did, You know that your behavior was wrong, and you're sorry and will never do it again. You may want to ask her if you can go to her work once more and apologize to her co-workers. If you do all that, she should forgive you. You sound like a nice guy that did a really stupid thing.

I would have been embarassed as well if a friend had done the same thing to me. I'm not sure she is going to be happy with you for a long time. Go to her and tell her you are very sorry and if there is any way you can make it up to her. And then leave her alone until she contacts you. If she doesn't contact you then that will be your answer.

Leave her alone for a few days. Then send "I'm sorry" flowers to her. Have them delivered to her work. Then never go to her work again. But when you see her outside of her work... Big apology, and ask if she got the flowers. Be honest and sincere.

Send apology cards and a token gift to her and all her coworkers. I'm sure you'll never get drunk around her or them after that.

Tell her you know it was wrong, and it won't happen again. Be sure that she didn't get in trouble with the boss(es). Do it in person. It means more when you do it face to face. That way she'll know you're sincere.

By doing her a favor and getting out of her life. Nobody needs an alcoholic in their life. Ruin your own life if you want but, don't drag anyone else along with you.
