Hands up if you've described yourself as a sinner when you've done nothing worse than pick your nose or take a cookie without first asking permission? Come on, confession is good for the soul.
Remember, sin is an abomination:

so you can't be a sinner unless you've done something abominable.

Oh, and remember, if you can't stop sinning, you won't get eternal life. Faith alone is just not enough, according to most Christians

I love to sin; why on Earth would I fake it? That would be like faking an orgasm when I am actually having one.

I vote Gluon for "Best Answer" and splinter for "No Best Answer"
I've never described myself as a sinner, but I've heard that term used for all of human kind, in the context it seemed true, I guess it would depend on linguistics or semantics or whatehaveyou, "mycellf" the whole sinner mentality is just awkward, like puberty for humanity.

Let the one who has not sinned cast the first stone-well that was the greatness of Christ.
We are all sinners.

You know if you are a sinner or not. We are born into a world of sin. But GOD will forgive you if except Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. And I believe that. How many times have you sinned? Do you have a personal relationship with the Lord?

Are you a lapsed Catholic or something? Everyone does more than just pick their nose or take a forbidden cookie, in good as it is in a bad way, "it's the thought that counts". God knows what you're thinking, not just what you're doing.

Oh crap! You mean I've sinned TWICE today?! (And what if the booger gets ON the cookie (accidentally)?)
And of course, there are more than one booger...is this a one-sin-per day thing, or one-sin-per-booger thing?

"Faking it?" You must mean lying. Lying about sinning is a sin itself, I suppose - a pretty lame sin. I can almost hear St. Peter chuckling and see him rolling his eyes at you, and then sending you back down, because you haven't lived yet.

so many people are tempted to have sin, they may be ashamed or glad to have done the sin...i hate sin yet i get tempted...everyone gets tempted to commit an evil deed and it's our choice if we want to be good or bad...i choose to be good, i'll try my best not to tempted with the stupid things like drugs and alcohol (gluttony) or lust (gross! i'm not even married)...i want to be, no, i HAVE to be a good person cause who wants a criminal?...
if you're the criminal, you don't feel shame...if you're the victim, you feel violated and hurt...no one wants to be a victim so no one should be the criminal as well...
