1. Shell
2. Shell Membranes (one sticks to the shell one surrounds the Albumen
3. Albumen - the white stuff... two layers... thin and thick
4. Chalaza - spiral bands that anchor the yolk to the center
5. vitelline membrane - the membrane that surrounds the yolk
6. yolk - the yellow stuff
7. germinal disk - a depression in the yolk where fertilization takes place
8. air cell - a pocket of air at the wide end of the egg
